DJ said: "It is impossible to separate the runs of form we went on when we won the Treble in the 1975/76 season and the 1977/78 season.
"We didn't lose many games. We didn't go on runs like the current team is on. But we were playing good Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Hibs teams.
"Still, this Rangers side have done brilliantly to win so many matches in the third tier. Teams are desperate to beat them every week."
