At times he plays up to the fans, of course he does. But that is clearly preferable to nobody fighting their corner, as was the case for many years in the past. But I think that, having escaped with a finger wagging, he is going to have to watch his step in the future. He is dealing with QCs and Lords, well respected people in society, now.
I was pleased to read him expressing in the club's official statement yesterday the desire to move forward and work for the betterment of the Scottish game.
The SFA, the SPL and Rangers have bigger issues to address. Specifically, they must all work together to get the game in this country thriving once again.
