I FOLLOWED the Rangers AGM online on Monday and was struck by how angry the hundreds of shareholders at Ibrox were.

I had been saying for weeks it was going to be stormy - but I was taken aback by just how stormy it was.

Derek Llambias, the new Rangers chief executive, will have been at a few AGMs during his time in charge at Newcastle United.

But I bet even he hadn't experienced such a hostile reception as the board got earlier this week.

If he was speaking to Mike Ashley afterwards he will have told him straight just how unhappy the fans are with what has gone on at Rangers.

I was deeply disappointed with the answers to the questions that were asked.

Fans left Ibrox without knowing any more than they had when they went in to the meeting.

"Is Mike Ashley going to put any money into Rangers," was a simple enough question.

But it wasn't addressed. That is why all of the supporters were so angry during the AGM - and afterwards as well.

The board could have reassured their fans by providing them with information about what their future intentions were for Rangers.

They didn't do that. If anything, people feel more worried about the situation than before.
