RANGERS have beaten two Premiership teams in cup competitions already this season and there is no reason why we can't make it a hat-trick on Sunday.

The Scottish Cup tie with Kilmarnock is a really big game and a chance for us to see how far Rangers have come and how far we have still got to go.

Killie had a really impressive start to the season and while they aren't on a great run at the moment they are still a good side.

I know Allan Johnston has been to watch Rangers a few times so he will know what to expect from us.

It will be a hard game, but it is a winnable tie.

We played so well against Inverness Caley Thistle and St Johnstone and we will need the same kind of performance, if not better, to win at Ibrox on Sunday.

Killie are a good team to watch, they pass the ball well and, even though they don't have Kris Boyd this season, they can score goals too.

Rangers will need to be right up for it, but we need to lose the rashness that cost us so dearly against Hearts.

It is a chance for the players to show that they respect their manager and want to do well for him.

After what has been a really hard week for everyone at Rangers, this is the kind of game you want.

Getting into the next round is the most important thing but I really want to see a performance from Rangers to get back on track at the first opportunity.
