CAMMY BELL 6 Not a quiet night for new No.1.

Suffered a first-half scare when a poor touch from Foster's pass almost allowed the hosts to pull level.

RICHARD FOSTER 6 Handed first start of second spell at the club, occupying the right-back berth. Solid performance from the former Bristol City man.

LEE McCULLOCH 7 No hat-trick of hat-tricks for the Light Blues skipper. Played a part in Mohnsi's opener and added another goal to his tally late on.

BILEL MOHSNI 6 Got the crucial touch at the back post to give his side an early lead as he netted his second goal in as many games. Comfortable at the heart of the Gers rearguard.

LEE WALLACE 6 Restored to starting line-up after missing the victory over Arbroath due to injury. Inclusion was perhaps a gamble from McCoist, but the Scotland international didn't let his manager down.

ROBBIE CRAWFORD 5 Started the first half wide on the right and the second half alongside Peralta in the middle. Failed to shine in either role.

ARNOLD PERALTA 7 An energetic and combative showing from the Honduran. Made his presence felt in the middle of the park and did the dirty work. Almost found the net with a terrific long range drive. NICKY LAW 7 Always looked a threat as he burst through from the midfield. Moved slightly further forward after the break in tactical reshuffle. Saw a curling effort go just wide of target.

STEVEN SMITH 6 Slotted in ahead of left-back Wallace but didn't thrive in the final third. Pinpoint cross almost lead to a spectacular Daly goal.

JON DALY 7 Focal point of the Gers attack once again. Strong and clever and always looking to bring others into play. Powerful header clinched the win.

ANDY LITTLE 6 Linked well with Daly in the first half before being redeployed wide on the right after the break. Plenty of endeavour.

SEBASTIEN FAURE 3 (for Peralta) 3 Replaced Peralta in midfield for the closing stages.

NICKY CLARK 2 (for Little) Got a mixed reception from the Palmerston crowd as he was given a late cameo.

DAVID TEMPLETON 2 (for Wallace) 2 Little time to make an impact.
