Ahead of the trip to Palmerston tomorrow night, William Hamilton from Kilmarnock asked DJ what was the worst plastic pitch he ever played on?
Without a doubt, it was at Queen's Park Rangers. They were one of the first clubs to get it when I was at Chelsea. We played at Loftus Road and we had a goal kick. It bounced at the halfway line and into the keeper's arms. It was the worst ever. It was like stone. I know they are better now, but I am still not a fan of plastic pitches.
