BOLTON boss Neil Lennon has been linked with a loan move for David Templeton in the January transfer window.

I don't think Ally McCoist - or whoever is in charge at Ibrox next month - will stand in his way if an approach is made.

David has hardly featured for the Gers this season. He has only started in a few games.

And when he has got on he has invariably been a disappointment. He can do far better and he knows that.

The David Templeton who scored a stunning for Hearts against Liverpool and was named Man of the Match back in 2012 has not been spotted.

I think a move would benefit both David and Rangers.

A move down south to another league to work under a manager who knows him might be just what he needs.

It could revive his career. I am sure he knows this and I think Ally will feel exactly the same.

A few Rangers players need to get away for the good of themselves and of the club. Arnold Peralta is one.

I don't even know if he is still at the club given how long it has been since we have seen him.

I think he must have been living with Lord Lucan?

I doubt he is going to get back into the side now.

I think he needs to move on - either on loan or permanently - for his own good and that of the club.
