Angela McIntrye from Glasgow asked: "Would you play Fraser Aird or David Templeton against Hearts?"
Derek replied: "I would play David Templeton on the right side of midfield ahead of Fraser Aird.
"I know I have said in the past that Templeton rarely plays two good games in a row and isn't nearly consistent enough.
"But I thought he did well against Alloa at the weekend. He should have scored at least one goal.
"On his day he is a good player. I fancy him to do well on grass against his former club tomorrow night.
"He has the ability to make something happen, has the skill to unlock an opposition defence.
"I know he doesn't produce his best often enough - but tomorrow night against Hearts is a good place to do it."
