RICKI NEILL admits his passion for Rangers First has taken over his life in recent months - but he wouldn't have it any other way.

The lifelong Light Blues fan was at the heart of the recent boardroom battle as RF attracted thousands of new members and bought an impressive shareholding to help oust the former Ibrox board.

The hard work hasn't stopped in the aftermath of EGM victory for Dave King, Paul Murray and John Gilligan as the fans' group look to continue their remarkable growth.

And Neill and his fellow RF directors have more help than ever before as fans sign up and offer their help for the good of the club.

Neill told SportTimes: "It has been like a full-time job. I came off Twitter for a few days because it was getting too hectic. I spent eight hours one day answering questions.

"My wife, Carrie, was expecting me to clean the house and look after my kids, Robbie and Kayleigh, while she was at work, but before I knew it, it was 8 o'clock at night!

"I have met a lot of good people online and it is something I will keep doing because it is one of the best ways to promote Rangers First. I wouldn't have it any other way. I am lucky that my family are so supportive.

"Robbie is ten and he thinks it is amazing when we go to Ibrox and people are stopping me and shaking my hand, and Kayleigh thinks it is funny when she sees me on the TV.

"My wife actually can't stand football, but she understands Rangers and what it means.

"As we get bigger, we are getting a lot more volunteers and people are coming forward to help.

"I am in it for Rangers, as is everyone involved with Rangers First. We just want the best for our club."
