GLASGOW girls can audition for Britain's hottest dance team this weekend.
The Scottish Rockettes want to recruit up to 25 dancers and are holding try-outs at Glasgow Fort.
The Rockettes perform at promotions and charity events across the country as well as doubling as cheerleaders for the Braehead-based Scottish Rocks basketball team.
New recruits are wanted for the coming season. Girls must be over the age of 18 and have a passion for dance, sport and the community.
The auditions are being held at the Fort's JJB Fitness Club on Sunday from 10am and will include a fitness test and a flexible work and dance routine in front of a secret celebrity judging panel.
Rockettes manager Carole-Anne Deeney said: "The facilities at Glasgow Fort are excellent and provide us with the perfect platform to find new members.
"The Rockettes have a very intense training schedule and we are looking for girls with passion and commitment to join one of the most successful professional dance squads in the UK.
"The girls on the team at present have a variety of dance experience from Highland to Hip-Hop. I am really looking forward to finding talent at Glasgow Fort."
Fort manager Phil Goodman said: "Last year between 90 and 100 enthusiastic girls took part in the extensive try-out programme. We are hoping that this year will be no different."
