FANS of US indie rock band We Are Scientists flocked to watch them play an acoustic set in a Glasgow store.
The California-based band met and signed autographs for scores of devotees at HMV in Argyle Street.
Band members also signed copies of their latest single, After Hours, for fans who queued for hours despite the rain and snow.
A new album, Brain Thrust Mastery, is due to be released later this month.
We Are Scientists was formed in 2000 and claims to produce "rock music of the thoughtful variety".
It takes its name from an encounter with a van rental employee, who asked the three bespectacled ex-college students if they were scientists.
