CAMERAS were at the ready as fans tried to snap a picture of Wet Wet Wet star Marti Pellow in Glasgow.

The Scots band were in the city to celebrate the release of their new album Timeless, with a show at zavvi - formerly Virgin Megastore - in Buchanan Street.

Fans queued up from 8am to get their hands on one of 300 wristbands available for yesterday's gig.

Ann Marie, from Cumbernauld, made sure she was there early to claim her wristband.

She said: "I first saw them 20 years ago, and there's no way I was going to miss seeing them in Glasgow."
