RANGERS legend Derek Johnstone reckons his former club should cash in on Kris Boyd this summer.
As revealed in SportTimes yesterday, the striker has had no approaches from the club over a new contract despite the fact he is now in the final year of his current deal.
The Light Blues run the risk of losing Boyd for nothing on a Bosman if he runs his deal down and DJ said: "I'll be surprised if he isn't sold on during this window.
"It would be a severe financial blow to lose a guy who was commanding a transfer fee of £3.8m last season for nothing."
