ST MIRREN manager Danny Lennon believes the Love Street side need to find their feet as quickly as possible.

The Saints endured a difficult time in October after failing to collect a single point from games against St Johnstone, Celtic and Dundee United.

Lennon today admitted he has been pulling his hair out by the results, but he remains confident Saints can recover and find their form. And he is adamant the belief of the squad has not been damaged by such a woeful run of results.

St Mirren lost to Hibs last weekend and, with a home game tomorrow to an Aberdeen side who have been flying high, Lennon knows his side can ill afford to go into the game with their tails between their legs.

"October was a horrible month, but I hope the next few weeks are better," he said.

"The next step in our development is having the ability to put results on the board – winning results – on a consistent basis.

"The league is as tight as I've ever known it and a couple of wins can really take us back up the table."

Saints will be without the suspended Jim Goodwin for tomorrow's encounter after the captain was sent off last weekend.

Lennon felt the second yellow card handed out to Goodwin was harsh and he is irked that he will now be without the influential midfielder for the visit of the Dons.

"It's a sore one for us but we need to get on with it," he said.
