HAMILTON ACCIES will recall striker Darian MacKinnon from his loan spell with Ayr United.
The 26-year-old moved to New Douglas Park in the summer after an impressive campaign in the Junior ranks with Clydebank, but was farmed out to the Honest Men.
MacKinnon has netted three times for the Irn-Bru Second Division side and, despite his loan spell still having another fortnight still to run, boss Billy Reid is set to bring him back to New Douglas Park ahead of their William Hill Scottish Cup clash with First Division rivals Dumbarton this weekend.
Reid yesterday completed a deal to keep defender Jonathan Page at the club for another month from Lanarkshire rivals Motherwell but he will be without the Steelmen star against the Sons due to an agreement with Well boss Stuart McCall.
Page has been in impressive form for Accies and netted his first goal for the club in the 2-1 defeat to Falkirk on Saturday but with his time at New Douglas Park set to end on December 27, McCall does not want the youngster to be cup-tied in case he is required later in the competition.
Similar arrangements with Kilmarnock and St Johnstone will also deprive Reid of the services of midfielder Gary Fisher and striker Stevie May.
Meanwhile, defender Stephen Hendrie, who has missed the last month of action due to a groin injury has returned to training.
