LANARKSHIRE pro-moter Paul Graham is confident his end of year punch-up at the Rivals Gym in Wishaw, on Friday night will be a pre-Christmas cracker.

It will be Graham's fourth promotion of the year, with seven fights topped by Jerviston's Iain Butcher, who will move up to super flyweight to take on Bristol-based South African Michael Ramabeletsa for the International Masters title.

Graham said: "Iain has had five fights to date and in each fight he has progressed up a notch.

"If he is successful on December 7 we are looking to get him involved in a British title fight either with Kevin Satchell at flyweight or Paul Butler at super flyweight.

"Ramabeletsa is a bigger fighter as he's naturally a bantamweight, but this will be a good test to see how Iain copes with that.

"It is also the first time he has been scheduled for 10 rounds so it is a big night for Butcher."

Bellshill's former Commonwealth title challenger Kris Hughes will look to bounce back to winning ways against gutsy Geordie Dougie Curran in the main supporting bout.

Wishaw puncher Mark Parvin returns against the entertaining Johnny Greaves in a six-round contest in the second fight of his pro career ,while New Cumnock light-middleweight Billy Campbell is involved in an all-Scottish affair against Paisley's Craig Kelly.

Also in action is Sanquhar's light middleweight Rhys Pagan.

New signing Sean Watson from Fauldhouse features in a four-round contest at feather- weight.
