JIM DUFFY is keen to avoid further midweek matches as his Clyde side prepare to face Queen's Park tonight.
The original fixture was postponed at short notice after the Broadwood surface was left unplayable.
Duffy said: "You want the games to be played on a Saturday as much as possible.
"We trained on the pitch after the game was called off but the referee was 100% right.
"There was no question about it. It is frustrating having to reschedule games but we just have to get on with it."
Qeen's head into tonight's tie on the back of a 3-2 win away to Annan and will close the gap on second placed Elgin to two points if they defeat Duffy's side.
