LEE McCULLOCH would welcome Kenny Miller back to Rangers with open arms and reckons the former Ibrox hit-man's desire to return shows that the lure of the Glasgow giants remains hard to resist.

Miller, who is currently playing with Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps, has expressed a fondness to come back to Govan for a third spell.

The 33-year-old has been training with his old team during his winter break alongside former Rangers aces Kris Boyd and Steven Smith.

Gers skipper McCulloch said: "All three of them would be good signings. Whether it would be possible I don't know. It's up to the manager and if he feels he can take them back again having been at the club before.

"Kenny is not shy in showing everybody where he wants to play. A lot of people are saying that just because it's the Third Division it's easy and we should be winning six or seven nil.

"Any player coming in has to be prepared to roll their sleeves up because it's not as easy as people think. Players wanting to come back just shows the size of the club and how good it is.

"You don't know how good it is until you leave. I don't want to leave because I know I'll want to come back. It's a good place to play football.

"I have a good two-and-a-half years left at Rangers and I want to keep playing as long as I can. But coaching and management is something I'd love a crack at."
