NEIL LENNON has stated that Rangers' problems are not the same as those at Celtic – and insisted the Hoops have nothing to do with the Ibrox club's issues.

Gers' chief executive Charles Green has frequently mentioned Celtic when discussing matters including attendance figures, season ticket sales and where proposed league reconstruction would leave his team.

But Lennon wants a halt brought to what he sees as the Light Blues trying to drag Celtic into matters which do not concern them.

When asked about Green's comments, Lennon said: "He's entitled to his opinion, but they keep bringing us into their problems.

"At the end of the day, they have their issues and we have ours."

On Green's statement regarding Rangers quitting Scotland, the Celtic boss added: "I understand where he is coming from.

"Whether that's good for the game, I don't know. Whether that's good for them, I don't know.

"But, from my point of view, they are in the Third Division, we are in the SPL. It's not our problem."

Lennon admits he has no idea if we will see Celtic play Rangers again, but admits he is fed up seeing the club's names side by side in Green's statements.

He said: "We seem to keep getting brought into it, whether they are having a nip at us or not.

"But, from here on in, I'm not going to answer questions on Rangers because they are not on our radar."
