Eyebrows are sure to be raised by the transfer-listing of Ashfield defensive team-mates Lee McShane and David 'Div' Mackay at their own request.
Kilbirnie Ladeside are thought likely to show an interest in no-nonsense stopper McShane after enquiring about his availability earlier this season, while Cumbernauld United and Shettleston are linked with approaches over classy left-back Mackay.
Another player out of favour is midfielder Ryan Deas of Arthurlie who has also submitted a transfer request.
