It was really good to get maximum points last week against Zebre.

We were the last team to play and we had seen all our Rabo Direct rivals pick up wins so to get the victory and keep the momentum going was great.

We know that we are in a good position in the Rabo to get that play-off place that we want this season.

There are a lot of teams near to each other and Ulster, who have been leading all season, lost at home so they are getting closer to the other five teams.

We have just got to keep winning, we know that these games over the Six Nations spell will be crucial for us.

The players have been working really hard and they all want to be given the chance to play and keep up the momentum.

We are down at Newport Dragons tomorrow and it will be another difficult game for us. I was reading the other day that no Scottish team has won down there since 2008.

I know they are a tough team with some good players and we will have to play much better this week if we are to get the win tomorrow night. Glasgow and the Dragons used to always get drawn in the same sections and played a lot of games against each other.

It was always the home team that came out on top so that is something we are looking to change this time around.

We have made a couple of changes for tomorrow. Duncan Weir and Henry Prygos were on the bench for Scotland, but they have been grafting hard and I am delighted they can start for us.

James Eddie is in at blind-side flanker ahead of Josh Strauss who had a big 80 minutes at the weekend and Pat MacArthur is in as well.

I am delighted with the team we are able to put out and also the bench.

We have got a very strong bench and it will take a big team effort from everyone if we are going to get the win.

On the international front, it was great to see some of our boys playing so well for Scotland last weekend against Italy in the Six Nations.

We watched the game as a squad and we are proud of the boys' efforts.

It was a massive day for our players, not just for the guys that started the game, but for everyone involved with the Scotland squad. I was delighted for them.

Our A team played really well the week before and we had a few players involved in that and we had a few Under-20s playing as well.

Two of them, Mark Bennett who will start, and Jonny Gray who will be on the bench, are set to be involved tomorrow.

Winning at international level is terrific.

It is a different experience with the crowd, the atmosphere and the attention and scrutiny involved in every game but it is fantastic when you emerge victorious.

You can tell that the guys are really confident and we hope that that enthusiasm will rub off on the whole squad.
