IAN MURRAY admits he has never known any team to turn around their fortunes in such a dramatic fashion as his Dumbarton side.
The Sons boss has masterminded a remark-able run of form that has put them six points clear of Airdrie and the foot of the Irn-Bru First Division and given them a fighting chance of survival.
Dumbarton face Raith Rovers tomorrow afternoon and Murray said: "I have been involved in teams that have been struggling and we have suddenly picked up, but I don't think I have ever had such a dramatic turnaround.
"We are going away from home and winning against good teams and we are backing that up by winning at home.
"We have had the odd blip, like Hamilton in the cup and Dunfermline at home, where I thought we deserved a point.
"We have lost two games in the last seven or eight weeks, but I think the manner of our defeats show we deserved more."
