FORSTER (6) No chance with Nigel Hasselbaink's excellent equaliser as he was rooted to the spot.
Also had to pick the ball out of the back of the net twice but goals were disallowed for offside.
AMBROSE (6) Netted his second goal in as many games after he was afforded acres of space to head home Emilio Izaguirre's cross from a short corner.
WILSON (6) Was cruising through the match until Gregory Tade came on and gave the Celtic defence some problems.
MULGREW (6) Started on the left of a three-man defence until Neil Lennon changed to a back four towards the end of the game which allowed him to move to left midfield and make more of an impact on the game.
MATTHEWS (6) Deployed as a right wing-back and encouraged to push forward but his team's best attacking moves were from the other side of the pitch.
WANYAMA (6) Faded badly after the break which allowed St Johnstone to come more and more into the game. Is guilty of that at times in so-called easier matches.
LEDLEY (6) The stand-in captain was another who performed well in the first-half but didn't quite manage to match that level of performance after the interval.
IZAGUIRRE (7) Enjoyed freedom of being allowed to bomb forward and put in a number of dangerous deliveries – including the one for the opening goal. Edging closer to being back to his best.
COMMONS (7) Created two good goalscoring opportunities for Gary Hooper in the first half and also forced a good save from Saints keeper Alan Mannus.
LASSAD (5) Handed a starting slot and didn't do enough to have much hope of keeping his place.
HOOPER (6) Missed two chances early on when he looked busy and industrious but fell out the game and became easier to mark.
FORREST (4) Brought on for Commons to inject some pace and width to the three-man Celtic attack but didn't make an impact on the game.
ROGNE (3) Allowed Hasselbaink to get away from him far too easily as he stepped inside to net a stunning equaliser.
STOKES (3) Left out of the start-ing line-up for personal reasons but replaced Lassad as Celtic went searching for a winner.
