Ally McCoist today expressed sympathy for Ross Perry after he suffered a broken nose for the second time in a matter of weeks.
The defender (pictured), revealed on Twitter he also had a hamstring injury at Berwick, writes Matthew Lindsay.
McCoist told the Rangers website: "I've got a great degree of sympathy for Ross because he knew he had broken his nose but he didn't want to come off.
"Sometimes these decisions have to be taken out of the player's hands and he was visibly shaky. He was a little bit dazed which is understandable.
"He has smashed his nose again which is a real, real blow and we just wish him a speedy recovery," he added.
