CELTIC have been forced to turn down a request to play in a testimonial match for Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard.
The Anfield club approached Parkhead chiefs to play the game in August, but it will coincide with qualifiers for the Champions League.
Manager Neil Lennon said: "We can't fit it into the schedule."
