Glasgow skipper Al Kellock can't wait for a rematch with Toulon after his side's dramatic fightback to snatch a Heineken Cup bonus point against the French team.

The Warriors trailed 34-0 at half-time against the reigning champions yesterday, but stormed back to grab their potentially precious point in a 51-28 defeat with two tries by DTH Van der Merwe, one by Niko Matawalu and one by Jonny Gray.

"Absolutely," said Kellock when he was asked if he was looking forward to taking on Toulon in the reurn match at Scotstoun in January.

Kellock said the noisy atmosphere at Toulon's Stade Felix Mayol may have got to some of his players, but added that he was proud of the way they had stood up against the star-studded European giants.

"I think the occasion got to us as a group," Kellock said. "Maybe in the excitement and the atmosphere we forgot to do our individual tasks, whether chasing kicks or staying within our defensive system.

"If you don't slow down the Toulon attack they will cut you apart.

"They were incredibly difficult to play against, but that's what happens when you sit off them.

"At times their decision- making was easy because they had so much time on the ball. They are a world class team.

"We're hurting, but we're pleased with the way we turned it round in the second half. But the first half is at the forefront of my mind at the moment."

Kellock and coach Gregor Townsend also had the consolation of warm words of praise from Jonny Wilkinson, the England World Cup legend, who went off with a hand injury after 30 minutes.

"I wasn't surprised by the way Glasgow played in the second half," said Wilkinson.

"We had watched a lot of video and it had been hugely impressive. they look to me to be a very fit team with a great deal of understanding as well."

Townsend was proud of the way his players responded.

"Our goal was to show who we were in the second half," said the coach.

"We showed a lot more of what we are about after the break. Tackles went in, we were chasing kicks and we took the initiative in attack.

"To get a bonus point was a huge effort from the players. I'm so proud of them. With 10 minutes to go, if a couple of passes had stuck then we could have been close to winning."
