STENHOUSEMUIR boss Martyn Corrigan has revealed the Ochilview club will launch a probe into John Gemmell's Twitter tirade.
The striker took to the social networking site at the weekend to criticise Rangers manager Ally McCoist's comments on the Ibrox club's schedule of matches.
McCoist hit out at the SPFL at the weekend after the governing body arranged for them to play three away games in six days immediately after Christmas.
Corrigan insisted the furore, which was splashed all over the back pages on Sunday, had not impacted on his team's performance on the park in the League One game.
But the former Partick Thistle and Motherwell defender confirmed that Warriors officials would look into it in the coming days.
Corrigan said: "It is something the club will deal with this week. Whatever happens off the pitch, we will deal with it internally.
"It certainly didn't distract us from our gameplan.
"But I don't think it overshadowed it. You need to be very careful with social media.
"You need to be very careful what you're saying when you're in the public eye. I don't really know the full extent of it.
"We'll need to look at it internally and there will be an inquiry at the club."
Regarding yesterday's defeat, the Ochilview manager added: "I thought we were very unlucky to finish the game 2-0 down.
"For a lot of the game, even when they had 11 men, we dominated and it's not often you can say that after playing Rangers."
