PARTICK THISTLE striker Mark McGuigan has left the club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old spent much of last season on loan with Albion Rovers before returning to Cliftonhill at the start of the current campaign on a temporary deal.
SportTimes understands he could sign on with James Ward's side for a third time after his departure from Firhill.
McGuigan joined the Jags in March 2012 after impressing former boss Jackie McNamara and scored two goals in 23 appearances for the club.
But the signing of forwards Lyle Taylor and Chris Erskine have pushed him further down the pecking order at Thistle and he has failed to feature for Alan Archibald's side since returning to Firhill earlier this month.
