THE Green Brigade returned to Parkhead for the St Johnstone game last weekend and grabbed a lot of headlines.
I have spoken about the Green Brigade before, both the good and the bad sides of them.
I don't differentiate between one group of Celtic supporters and another, you can't put certain fans up on a pedestal. A Celtic fan is a Celtic fan.
The Green Brigade do have an impact on the atmosphere, but they are relying on getting an allocation of tickets together for them to have that impact.
If they support the team and there are no political issues, then they can carry on.
But we know the bad side of them and we have seen the incidents at Fir Park and Parkhead that are unacceptable.
If they curtail the bad behaviour then they do bring something different to the crowd and the atmosphere at games, but that can't come at a cost to the club.
