BELL (5) Could have positioned himself better for Ciaran Donnelly's goal.

That apart, he carried out his duties professionally. Had a fair bit to do as well.

FOSTER (5) The experienced right-back's work-rate could not be faulted. Was one of the Glasgow team's better performers … not that that was saying much.

MOHSNI (5) He forced a decent save from Albion keeper Neil Parry with a 25-yard shot in the second half. Moved up front when Jon Daly was taken off and promptly nodded in the equaliser.

McCULLOCH (5) The captain will not enjoy seeing the Albion Rovers goal again. Had a goal-bound header saved by Parry in stoppage time.

WALLACE (5) Zipped up and down the left flank all afternoon. Whipped a few dangerous deliveries into the opposition penalty box.

AIRD (4) The teenage winger looks to have played one game too many. Rangers failed to hurt their opponents down the right flank. Perhaps it is time to give the youngster a much-needed rest.

BLACK (4) The occasionally-volatile individual did well to stay on the field after being booked for a foul midway through the first half. Did not enjoy his finest performance.

LAW (3) A deeply disappointing afternoon for the English midfielder. Should really have been dominating a game against part-time opponents. Allowed himself to drift out of the game.

TEMPLETON (6) Probably Rangers' best outfield performer. Certainly looked the player most likely to score. Went close with several curling long-range attempts and hit the crossbar.

SHIELS (3) Taken off after just over an hour after failing to make his presence felt. The Northern Ireland international is in the team to provide guile and goals in the final third, but did neither.

DALY (4) Stuck to his task doggedly, but the Irishman once again looked isolated playing as a lone striker. Missed an absolute sitter early in the second half before being replaced.

SUBSTITUTES: LITTLE (2) Given a run in his preferred position up front. Did little to suggest he deserves an extended run there.

FAURE (2) Took over from Mohsni at centre-half in what proved to be an inspired substitution.
