Celtic's hat-trick hero Kris Commons admitted it needed a half-time telling-off from manager Neil Lennon to get the players going as they wrapped up a 3-0 win over Kilmarnock.

The Hoops were kept at bay in a frustrating first half but finally found some rhythm after the break as Commons' goals set them on their way to a win which lifts them 24 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with nine games remaining.
The Glasgow giants can pencil in their Parkhead clash with Ross County on March 29 for a title party, should nearest challengers Aberdeen avoid defeat before then.
But it took some stern words from Lennon to achieve that result, according to Commons, who now has 26 goals this season.
"(We were told to) up the tempo," Commons said. "I think we got in good areas with good possession, but it kept breaking down and the front three weren't quite clicking first half.
"But we had a bit of a kick up the backside and we soon got into our flow, tired them out. There was a lot of space to exploit and lucky for us we got on the end of it."
Another league title is now well within their sights, while Commons sees no reason why they cannot achieve other milestones as well before the end of the campaign.
He said: "It would be nice to be crowned champions again but we're looking to get as many goals as possible and looking to get into the 100 points as well.
"So there's plenty of incentives right until the end of the season and I think we're going to carry that sort of form right until the last game."
Lennon was full of praise for his team's second-half display as they eventually brushed Killie aside with ease.
He said: "The second half was sensational, I can't speak highly enough of the team. Commons is a master finisher and Scott Brown was simply awesome. Liam Henderson was great on his debut and Stefan Johansen had a stormer.
"I know Kris isn't an out-and-out striker, but it speaks volumes for his performances this season. A real game-changer.
"We needed the goals. We were a bit slack in the final third first half, but there was a real pizazz about us second half.
"We don't want to just creep over the line (in the title race), we want to do it in style. And certainly that second-half performance was as good as we've played for a long, long time.
"And I can't speak highly enough of the fans - fantastic. I'm glad they have gone home after seeing Celtic play the football they demand."
