RANGERS fans are set to stage a red card protest during the final game of the season against Dunfermline tomorrow.

Gers supporters attending the game at East End Park will be handed flyers going into the stadium.

And they will be asked to hold them up during the 18th and 72nd minutes of the SPFL League One match.

The Sons of Struth - one of the supporters' groups who make up the Union of Fans - has organised the demonstration.

It is a response to the 120-day business review released by chief executive Graham Wallace last Friday.

There was a furious response to the review -which revealed that Rangers had spent nearly £70million in an 18-month period - by many Light Blues followers.

And former director Dave King branded it "flimsy" in a statement which he released on Monday night.

A protest was to have been staged during the game against Stranraer at Ibrox last Saturday and over 30,000 leaflets had been printed.

However, the Union of Fans cancelled it 24 hours before the game out of respect to club legend Sandy Jardine, who passed away on the Thursday night.

Rangers fans have given their enthusiastic backing to two card protests during the 2013/14 campaign.

They held a blue-card protest at Ibrox in March to show their support for South Africa-based businessman King.

And, in December last year, in the build-up to the agm, there was a red-card demonstration against the board.

Several thousand Rangers fans are expected in Fife to see manager Ally McCoist's side try to maintain their unbeaten league record.
