Darren McGregor today admitted he is still pinching himself at sealing a move to Rangers - just six years after playing junior football.
Former St. Mirren centre half McGregor was paraded in front of the media at Ibrox today after putting pen to paper on a one year contract.
The 28-year-old was released by Cowdenbeath at the start of his career and ended up playing for tiny Arniston Rangers for two seasons.
He has also recovered from two serious cruciate ligament injuries to get back playing and is looking forward to representing the Gers in the SPFL Championship.
He said: "My mates have been reminding me that I was playing for Arniston Rangers six years ago. It is amazing that I have now signed for Rangers.
"I also didn't think I would get back playing after suffering my second cruciate injury. It hasn't sunk in that I have signed for Rangers. I keep pinching myself."
