RANGERS have been drawn against Hibernian in the first round of the Petrofac TrainingCup.
Ally McCoist's side reached the final of the competition last season before losing to Raith Rovers at Easter Road and will kick-off their third bid for the silverware against the Capital club in a mouth-watering clash.
The Light Blues' other main rivals for the Championship title next term, Hearts, were handed a tie against Annan as the balls were pulled from the hat for the first time.
The ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday, July 26 but the Gers have yet to discover when they will play their first game due to the Commonwealth Games
