RANGERS are sweating on the fitness of Kenny Miller, Lewis Macleod and Fraser Aird after their defeat to Ventura County Fusion on Tuesday night.
The Light Blues got their pre-season campaign off to a disappointing start as they went down 3-1 in California.
And boss Ally McCoist admits the synthetic surface Stateside may have played a part in the knocks picked up by a trio of his top stars.
"Lewis hurt his hip, Kenny was feeling his groin and Airdy was a little bit tight around the knee," he said.
Meanwhile, keeper Scott Gallacher has quit Ibrox.Steve Simonsen will provide competition for No.1 Cammy Bell.
