BELL (6) Had fairly little to do as Hearts threatened without ever really testing the Ibrox No.1.
Left exposed by his defence at both goals.
FOSTER (5) Looked more comfortable back in a 4-4-2. Late exit proved costly as Hearts capitalised.
ZALIUKAS (4) Given the nod to start ahead of Darren McGregor alongside McCulloch at centre-half and received a warm welcome from the Hearts support.
McCULLOCH (5) Unfurled the League One flag and was fairly solid at the heart of the Rangers defence. Won't want to see either goal again, though.
WALLACE (5) Always keen to get forward but could have done more in the final third. Should also have done better at the first Hearts goal as Wilson headed home.
MACLEOD (4) Got off to a decent start and looked bright down the right-hand side. Wasn't as influential as he could have been or can be. Faded as the game went on.
BLACK (4) Got about the park and got stuck in against his former club. Lack of pace exposed a couple of times. Injury forced him off just after the break.
LAW (3) Was booed when he was announced as the man of the match then scored seconds later to pull Rangers level. Poor again, though.
TEMPLETON (4) Handed a start after his cameo against Hibs in midweek but wasn't as effective. Started brightly and looked dangerous but spurned a glorious chance when he headed over just yards out.
MILLER (6) Plenty of endeavour from the veteran striker but partnership with Boyd didn't pay off on too many occasions. The goals will surely come.
BOYD (6) Still hasn't scored in his two competitive outings but has had little service in either game. Decent enough but will be frustrated at lack of quality in the final third from Rangers.
HUTTON (2) (for Black 48) Had plenty of time to catch the eye and convince McCoist he is deserving of a run in the team but didn't shine in the middle of the park.
SHIELS (4) (for Templeton 71) Plenty of effort but not a lot came off as he looked to spark Rangers into life.
McGREGOR (1) (for Foster 90) Hearts scored the winner just seconds after his arrival.
