CAMMY BELL is determined to go on a shut-out spree following his starring role in Rangers' win over Falkirk.

After beating Hibernian 2-1 then losing to Hearts by same scoreline in the opening days of the campaign, Ally McCoist's side got their first clean sheet of the season against the Bairns.

Bell played a key part in the 2-0 success as he pulled off a string of important saves.

Now the Ibrox No.1 is determined to keep the opposition at bay more often as attentions turn to tonight's Petrofac Training Cup clash with Clyde. Bell said: "I've been dying to get a clean sheet and said well done to our defenders at the end of the Falkirk game.

"It was a big clean sheet, especially away from home at a really tough place to go to after losing goals in our first two games.

"It's not just about the defence, you have to defend as a team.

"I felt we did that slightly better in the second half at Falkirk.

"It's a work in progress for us and we'll continue to look at ways to do it better.

"Hopefully we'll get it right and keep a lot of clean sheets from here."
