CELTIC new Bhoy Jo Inge Berget admits domestic bliss is helping him settle into life in Glasgow.

The Norwegian forward suffered a disappointing start to his loan spell at Parkhead when he made his debut in the 4-1 defeat to Legia Warsaw in the club's Champions League third round qualifier.

Since then, the Cardiff City man has gone on to impress in green and white, netting a brace against Dundee United on Saturday before turning in an accomplished performance in Maribor midweek.

The 23-year-old is now beginning to settle into life at the Glasgow giants, no mean feat for a man unfamiliar with the demands and responsibility being part of a club like Celtic brings.

But he admits that lodging with fellow Norwegian and team-mate Stefan Johansen has helped make the transition to life in Scotland an enjoyable experience.

He said: "It seems nice in Glasgow. I've been staying at Stefan's house since I came and he has been showing me around, going to restaurants and things to do. That's a good thing.

"It looks like a really nice town. I can't really say either of us do much of the housework, his missus is doing a great job and she is a great cook as well.

"She has been doing all the cooking so far. I feel like I'm staying in a hotel. I'm in no hurry to move out, I've been searching for an apartment but I can't really find one.

"It has been good here. The first week maybe wasn't so good but it has been better since then. I am starting to settle in.

"Of course, I didn't have the best of debuts. None of the players had their best games in Warsaw.

"But you have to believe in yourself, pick yourself back up and get back out there."

Celtic turn their attention from European exploits back to the bread and butter of the SPFL Premiership today up in Inverness, and Berget added: "We get briefed the day before the game.

"I don't know much about them now but we watch videos of the opposition team and get to know their strengths and weaknesses - and how we should play against them.

"It's all new for me because I have never played against these teams before and don't know the opposition players.

"But that's how it is. I just need to play my game and believe that if the team plays the way Celtic want to play then we can win every game."
