SCOTLAND midfielder Graham Dorrans has completed a permanent transfer to Norwich City from West Bromwich Albion.

The 28-year-old, who has 10 full caps, made 18 appearances for the Canaries while on loan in the second half of last season and scored three times in their last five league games to take them into the end-of-season Play-Offs, from which they won promotion to the Barclays Premier League after beating Middlesbrough 2-0 in the final.

Dorrans signed a two-year contract earlier today.

"I'm delighted and pleased to get it sorted and glad to join permanently," he said. "It's been a great few months. The boys welcomed me and it's been great to work with the gaffer. I look forward to the next couple of years."

Alex Neil, the Norwich manager, is happy to have put the issue to bed in plenty of time for the new season.

"Graham has been a very important part of the team over the last few months," said Neil. "He has Premier League experience and is a top player. His experience and quality will help us and we're delighted he has joined us on a permanent basis."
