MOTHERWELL owner Les Hutchison has set his sights on a top-six finish and silverware next season.
The Steelmen avoided relegation from the Premiership on the final day of the domestic campaign as they beat Rangers 6-1 on aggregate in the play-off final.
Boss Ian Baraclough has already started reshaping his squad ahead of the big kick-off and Hutchison has lofty ambitions at Fir Park.
He said: "Obviously we have spent money and got new players. The manager is very keen we do extremely well this year.
"But obviously we have to compete at a reasonable level given the budget we have.
"But we would certainly be expecting to be in the top six next season and we would certainly be hoping for a pretty good cup run.
"Next year is the 130th anniversary of Motherwell Football Club, so that would be a great time to celebrate a cup win or at least a really good cup run. So we are looking forward to that."
