CELTIC new Bhoy Saidy Janko is out to satisfy his hunger for trophies and European football now he has clinched a move to Glasgow.

The former Manchester United defender signed a four-year contract with the Premiership champions that will see the right-sided player be a major part of Ronny Deila’s future plans.

Just hours after completing his move, the 19-year-old who spent a period on loan last year at Bolton watched his new club record a 2-0 win over Dutch outfit Den Bosch at St Mirren Park.

It only served to whet the appetite of Janko who sees Celtic as the club to make his football dreams come true, both domestic and internationally.

The Swiss said: “Hopefully I’ll get as many games and as many trophies with the club as possible.

“I want to play in the Champions League and play international football, because with Celtic that is possible.”

Janko also told the Celtic website: “I’m looking forward to teaming up with my new team-mates and to the new challenge. Obviously Celtic are a huge club and I just want to get playing.”
