A DEBUT goal from Wes Fletcher earned Motherwell a 1-1 draw with Borussia Munchengladbach Under-23s tonight.
In what was Well’s first pre-season friendly, Ian Baraclough’s men took the lead four minutes into the second half in Rheden as the former York City striker netted the rebound from a Craig Moore shot.
Despite the Scottish side having most of the chances, it was the Germans who would grab the second goal of the game as a solo effort from Giuseppe Pisano levelled matters.
Next up for Motherwell, who gave game time to two trialists in Holland, is a meeting with Eredivisie side Heerenveen in Drachten on Thursday night.
