WILLIE COLLUM will referee next month's Uefa Super Cup between Barcelona and Sevilla in Georgia.
The Lanarkshire official will be in charge when Luis Enrique's Champions League winners take on their Spanish rivals and reigning Europa League holders at Tbilisi's Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena on August 11.
The showpiece date is the 36-year-old's reward following an impressive season on the continent.
Collum oversaw six Champions League matches last term, including the quarter-final second leg between Monaco and Juventus. He has also been the man in the middle for three Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Collum has notched up 67 Uefa fixtures since joining the international list in 2006.
He was just 29 when he officiated the 2008 Uefa European Under-19 Championship final between Italy and Germany and also refereed both the 2013 and 2015 William Hill Scottish Cup finals.
He will be assisted by Irish assistant Damien MacGraith and compatriot Francis Connor. Fellow-Scot Graham Chambers will act as fourth official, while Bobby Madden and Kevin Clancy have been appointed additional assistant referees.
