SPARTANS will host the semi-finals and final of this season's Women's Scottish Cup.

The last-four ties will go ahead at Ainslie Park on Sunday, October 11, with the final being played on Sunday, November 8.

The Scottish Women's Football Board decided to take the games to the Edinburgh venue after Spartans successfully hosted the SWPL League Cup final in May when Glasgow City beat Hibernian.

The Scottish Cup is at the last-16 stage, with holders Glasgow City due to travel to Aberdeen on Sunday, August 9.

Six other ties are scheduled for the same day – Edinburgh Caledonia v Cumbernauld Colts, Forfar Farmington v Hibernian, Aberdeen Development v Rangers, East Fife v Rangers (SWFL), Glasgow Girls v Motherwell and Stirling University v Celtic – with Dee Vale or Queen's Park v Kilmarnock being played on Sunday, August 2.

The quarter-final games are due to take place on Sunday, September 13.
