Mikael Lustig has urged his Celtic team-mates to utilise more width in an attempt to get in behind Qarabag in Baku next week.

The Hoops will take a 1-0 lead with them to Azerbaijan but Listig is well aware that it will be a testing 90 minutes for Celtic to come out of unscathed.

And as such he wants the Parkhead side to use the height and physical prowess within the team," he told Celtic TV.

“We didn’t create as many chances as we wanted but it was a really important goal and it was good to have a clean sheet.

“We are the better team. We had a lot of the ball but we didn’t create so much. Against this team we should try to bomb on and get crosses and corners in because we are a lot bigger than them but hopefully we can do that over there.

“We watched videos and at home both their left and right-back sit really high so we will see what happens but defensively last night we did well for 90 minutes.

“We wanted more goals but it is nice to have the clean sheet. Can we go there and score one goal. If so they would then need three so it is so far so good."
