Hamilton have confirmed that Spanish striker Salva Chamorro hasn’t in fact signed for the club after all, despite being paraded to the media last week.
It was believed that a deal for the 25-year-old had been concluded before Chamorro modelled the new away kit at a press conference last Tuesday.
However, there were international clearance issues with the registration of the player, and the registration submission was subsequently cancelled with the SFA.
The club stated that as the issues were not anticipated to be resolved in the near future, that their interest in the player had subsequently ended.
