Clyde goalkeeper John Gibson is desperate for his side to get back on track today after a disappointing defeat at Montrose last weekend.

Despite a man-of-the-match performance in which he saved a penalty, Gibson couldn’t prevent the Bully Wee going down 2-0.

Now he is hoping to make amends as East Stirling visit Broadwood.

"I was gutted with the result,” he told the club’s website.

“I just wanted the next game to come along straight away so we could get out there, put things right and try to get a positive result.

"It was good to make the penalty save and some other saves but that’s my job.

“I was still as disappointed as the rest of the players, management and fans at the end of the game.

"It is a great squad, full of good boys and hopefully we can start kicking on and picking up results for the fans and the manager.

"This weekend is going to be massive but every game is going to be massive because we want to win every week and try to get as many points on the board as we can.

"We know what we need to do on Saturday and we are looking forward to it."
