Stefan Johansen has assured Celtic that there are no issues with his hamstring after setting up Norway’s only goal of the game in their European Championship qualifying win over Bulgaria on Thursday night.

There has been some suggestions this week that the midfielder may not make the game because of a tight hamstring, however he appears to be fully fit.

Johansen set up Vegard Forren before being substituted later in the game.

However, he later insisted that the switch was purely tactical and he fully expects to start Sunday’s game against Croatia.

Johansen has been a significant cog in the heart of Celtic’s midfield over the last 14 months or so and won the SPFA Player of the Year award last term. News that he is not returning to face a spell on the sidelines will be welcomed by Hoops boss Ronny Deila.
