HIBERNIAN are sweating on the fitness of midfielder Liam Henderson after the on loan Celtic star was left floored with a virus.
Henderson missed the 1-0 win over Alloa on Saturday as Alan Stubbs’ side moved level on points with Rangers at the top of the Championship standings.
The Capital club are not back in action until the trip to Morton a week on Saturday and boss Stubbs is keen to get to the bottom of Henderson’s illness.
He said: “We have taken a lot of blood tests, trying to whittle our way through exactly what it is.
“We’ve ruled out one thing, but he has a viral infection which has wiped him out a little bit. Liam’s a bit rundown but there are a few possibilities of what it could be to get to the bottom of it.
“I think he is just has a little bit of an iron deficiency, but it has wiped him out.”
