Celtic star Leigh Griffiths has issued a plea to online trolls who have sent nasty messages to the footballer about his kids.
The heartfelt message was posted last night after the striker scored the opener against East Kilbride allowing Celtic to progress in the Scottish Cup yesterday.
He received a sickening message from a Twitter user by the name of FaZe Jmbno, who said: "I hope your 4 kids die."
The Twitter user has since deleted the page after fans backed Griffiths over the inappropriate message.

The dad-of-four, who has Kacie (4), Rhys, (4), Layla, (4) and Jacob (2), said: "I'm all for banter with fans on Twitter, I get praise when it's due, and criticism when it's due, but why do people feel the need to wish bad things to happen to my kids?
"I'm doing my job at the end of the day, and if people don't like that fine.
"But please don't wish things like my kids to die please, because it really does hurt.
"They don't have anything to do with my job. I go to work, come home, and be a family man.
"I love my four kids with everything I have, and what I do, I do for them."
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We can confirm that a complaint has been received and police enquiries are at an early stage into this matter."
Football fans, who support a variety of clubs, responded to the message with support for the footballer:

@Leighgriff09 Fair play, as a Gers fan, I'd hardly say i'm your biggest fan, but bringing kids into things is wrong on every level.
